I’m a former hockey player of the Bangladesh national team, where I played against other countries such as Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
National colours
Field hockey
Long before Manchester, there was the hockey pitch. I had the honour of representing the Bangladesh national team, taking the field against international sides including Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
The discipline of team sport — turning up, training hard and playing for something bigger than yourself — has shaped everything I have done since.
